A Summer of Sustenance and Sustainability
Vermont has a short growing season. This is made apparent by the smiles at the farmer's markets, the dirty fingernails, and the rapid addiction to cherry tomatoes experienced by so many for so few months. These photos represent a summer of sustenance and sustainability: working at a farm, a community garden, and a plant-dense front porch at my apartment. No matter what was growing, or where it took root, these plants created some sort of sustenance for me.
